Fusing the old guard editing principles of Eisenstein and Kuleshov, and the film theories of Slavko Vorkapich and Stefan Sharf with contemporary visual styles— Ford seeks to utilize highly stylized editorial techniques that continue to be steeped in the tradition of filmic storytelling.

 

Seeking to build complex, yet digestible sequences motivated by the content of the project, Ford has experience planning sequences before they’re shot, as well as creating unplanned sequences that still fit into the zeitgeist of the film.
